Product description
Preparation for removing algae, fungi and lichen occurring outside and inside buildings. Especially recommended for cleaning and disinfecting the base before applying a new paint coating or plastering. Designed for use on all common mineral substrates (such as concrete, stone, cement, cement-lime plasters, cement-fiber boards) as well as on substrates covered with coatings or plastics based coatings. Note: If the product is used on other substrates than those mentioned above, it is recommended to perform earlier tests on an invisible fragment of the substrate. In order to ensure long-term protection against the development of algae and fungi, the surface cleaned with ALGIZID should be protected with plaster or paint with the addition of an active coating agent (additional service).

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION: If there is intense algae and / or fungal growth on the facade, the substrate should be mechanically cleaned (e.g. using a brush with hard bristles) and then washed with water under pressure. The substrate inside the building should be cleaned mechanically without flushing with water.
PREPARATION OF THE PREPARATION: The packaging contains a product intended for direct use. Read the information on the product label before use.
APPLICATION: Apply the preparation to the ground with a brush, brush or by spraying (using a garden sprayer), trying to evenly and accurately cover the entire surface to be renovated. After applying the preparation, wait 6 to 12 hours. Then thoroughly clean the entire surface with high pressure water. In case of heavy soil contamination, the decontamination procedure should be repeated.
DRYING: The seasoning period of one layer of the preparation applied to the substrate (when drying at + 20 ° C and 65% relative humidity) is 12 hours. After this period, further renovation work may begin. Note: Low temperature and high humidity may increase the drying time of the preparation.
IMPLEMENTATION TIPS: In the event of intense algae and fungal growth, a technical assessment of the building should be carried out to determine the scope of work necessary to effectively remove microbial contamination. The preparation has irritating properties and is harmful to human health and the environment. During work it is recommended to use protective clothing (safety goggles, rubber gloves, respiratory mask). Do not spread the agent near plants, shrubs. Protect against entering water bodies. The active substances are biologically decomposed below the threshold of harmfulness for microorganisms. Do not allow the product to enter sewage, soil, surface water.
