Product description

TOP WHITE Anti-Reflex - Anti-reflective acrylic paint for ceilings

TOP White Anti-Reflex is the perfect paint for painting walls inside a building. Works great for painting dry surfaces (hall, office rooms, conference rooms, living room, bedroom, study room, etc.). It is an acrylic and anti-reflective paint that effectively reduces light reflections. Thanks to this, the surface of the painted wall seems to be more even and pleasant to the eye.

TOP White Anti-Reflex acrylic paint is also suitable for decorative and protective painting of ceilings inside dry rooms (residential, office, public, in production plants, healthcare buildings and many others). It can also be used to paint the ceiling and walls of buildings used in the food industry (if there is no direct contact with food).

The advantages of this TOP White acrylic paint are that it provides a standard wall / ceiling finish and gives a matte expression. The paint also has a high resistance to scrubbing, washing and yellowing. It is used for the first and renovation painting of mineral substrates (concrete, cement plasters, cement-lime plasters, lime and gypsum as well as gypsum plasterboards) and for all covered with a strongly bound coating (e.g. plastic-based coating).

Important : Top White Anti-Reflex can also be used on absorbent and chalking surfaces, but after priming with AQUALIT.

TOP White Anti-Reflex Paint - Substrate Preparation

Before proceeding to priming and painting, it is first necessary to prepare the substrate. How? The surface must be free of scratches, cracks, degreased, clean and dry. Also, any chemical or biological stains and efflorescence should be eliminated. If there was fungal growth on the substrate, we clean it mechanically and then disinfect it with a fungicidal preparation. And if the surface has some efflorescence after water stains, nicotine stains or other discoloration, we first remove them with MILIMAT insulating paint.

If there are some unbound layers on the surface (peeled-off paint coats, loose plasters, etc.), residues of lime and adhesive paints, they should be removed. All older and dirty substrates can be effectively cleaned and degreased using a special CLEANFORCE preparation.

Important : When the surface to be painted is uneven in many places, it should be leveled beforehand with KOMBI FINISH and then smoothed with PROFINISH putty. If the unevenness is minimal, you can immediately use the PROFINISH leveling compound. In the case of absorbent substrates, before applying all mortars and fillers, we must prime them with BUDOGRUNT WG. Dry buildings can be painted after sanding and dust removal, cement and cement-lime plasters after 3 or 4 weeks, and gypsum plasters after 2 weeks.

TOP White Anti-Reflex Paint - Priming

Before applying paint to the wall / ceiling, prime these surfaces with AQUALIT. Such a primer usually dries after about 3 hours (in the case of dry rooms, in which there are optimal conditions and temperature above 20 degrees Celsius, and humidity around 50-55%). When the primer has dried, you can slowly apply TOP White Anti-Reflex. Important: When using this paint we want to paint substrates with low wettability (e.g. depressive paint coatings, plasters based plasters), they should not be primed. All you need to do is clean them with water with a minimal amount of CLEANFORCE.

TOP White Anti-Reflex Paint - Preparation of the paint and Application to the wall and ceiling

We get a ready-to-use product, so all you have to do is open the packaging. And then you can mix the paint and decide to use it. If necessary, thinning with a minimum amount of water (max. 5% by volume) is possible, taking into account the paint application technique, drying conditions and the type of substrate.

We apply the paint to the substrate in 2 layers by brushes, roller or spray or airless method. Recommended use of 18mm sheepskin roller. Apply the second layer after the first one has dried, which should be monitored. Drying length depending on the substrate, weather conditions, season of the year and many others.
