Welded asphalt roofing felt UNI V60 S30 is made on the basis of a glass veil. Unmodified asphalt. The top side covered with fine-grained mineral sprinkles, the bottom side protected with plastic foil. For use as a primer in multilayer roofing on a rigid surface and for waterproofing insulation, i.e. type A, in multilayer and monolayer systems. It is not intended for roofing for plant cultivation. Recommended for dimensionally stable roofs, not subject to vibration and settling.
Roofing felt UNI V60 S30 should be fastened to the ground by welding, over the entire surface, with a longitudinal overlap of about 8cm and a transverse overlap of about 12cm. Both the concrete base and the old roofing covering should be primed with a priming solution, e.g. Abizol R. The outflow of coating mass, about 1 cm wide, indicates proper welding of the roofing felt. The roofing felt should be laid at a temperature above + 5oC, on a dry surface. In the case of low ambient temperatures, the roofing felt should be stored in heated rooms (approx. + 20oC) and carried out on the roof immediately before installation. Do not fasten mechanically.
