Assembly
- Galeco NOVA soffit system panels are installed perpendicular to the building wall. Installation of panels parallel to the building wall may cause bulging and deformation of the elements.
- The Galeco NOVA soffit system is installed under rafters, for wooden battens with a minimum size of 25 x 50 mm.
- Patches should be dry and impregnated, and the distance between adjacent patches should not exceed 40 cm.
- It is allowed to install the roof lining on the roofs, where, depending on the foundation of the building, it is possible to periodically expose individual panels to solar radiation.
- NOVA soffit components should not be installed in areas exposed to long-term and direct sunlight, e.g. building facade
- The roof liner should be installed at an ambient temperature above 5 ° C.
- The "J" mounting strip should be mounted to leveled battens around the entire perimeter of the built-in eaves using stainless nails with a length of min. 20 mm and head diameter min. 8 mm. The nails are driven perpendicular to the batten into the center of the mounting hole, leaving about 1 mm of clearance between the head and the strip hole to allow the thermal movement of the element. The distance between successive nails should be about 30 cm.
- The roof lining panels cut to the appropriate width are inserted into the mounted "J" type slats in a direction perpendicular to the facade. The next panel should be inserted and hooked with the lock of the previous element.
- Approximately 3 mm of clearance should be left between the panel edge and the wall of the mounting strips to allow thermal expansion of the panel.
- It is recommended to use every third panel with perforations to ensure optimal ventilation of the roof and eaves. The headlining panels should be nailed to the battens.
storage
- The headliner elements should always be stored in their original packaging (cartons and plastic bags).
- It is recommended to store rooflining elements under a roof.
- Elements of the system should be supported along the entire length, and the storage height should not exceed 1 m.
- The storage temperature should not exceed 50 ° C.
- Do not store the roof liner loose in places exposed to direct sunlight, as this may deform the elements.
