GRUNT MINERALIT KABE CONSOLID 100 4kg
Product description
Preparation based on ethyl esters of orthosilicic acid intended for strengthening (consolidation) of disintegrated mineral building substrates occurring inside and outside of buildings. Especially recommended for surface strengthening of narrow porous building materials damaged by aging processes caused by erosive effects of atmospheric factors. The reinforcing effect of the preparation consists in the formation of silica in the structure of the building material, which is its reinforcing binder. The process of silica formation is associated with the hydrolytic polycondensation of orthosilicic acid ethyl esters with water contained in the capillaries of the building material and / or with water vapor present in the air. The described process takes place under the influence of a neutral catalyst included in the preparation. The preparation has a very good ability to penetrate into the capillaries of narrow-porous building materials (such as: natural stones, terracotta, bricks and plasters).
Note: Prior to using stones containing intumescent clay minerals for pre-treatment, a preliminary test should be performed.
Base binding agent
ethyl esters of orthosilicic acid with a standard degree of polycondensation | |
Thinner | does not thin |
Colour | colorless liquid |
Average consumption | should always be determined during preliminary laboratory tests, because the amount of consumption can vary from 0.5 to even 20 l / m² depending on the properties of the building material |
Application temperature (air and substrate) | from + 10 ° C to + 20 ° C. At temperatures above 20 ° C, the product may evaporate too quickly, making it impossible to reach the appropriate saturation depth. The procedure should not be performed at temperatures below + 10 ° C |
packaging | Disposable plastic packaging containing 5 l of product |
attention | Highly flammable. Product storage only with particular regard to the storage conditions of flammable materials. Keep the product out of the reach of children |
Shelf life | 12 months from the date of production on the product packaging, with the original packaging closed |
