Fischer FIS EM 1500 S injection mortar is a high quality epoxy resin mortar for maximum load bearing capacity in cracked and non-cracked concrete. In connection with the injection mortar, the injection system includes steel reinforcement, approved FIS A anchor rod and RG M I internal thread anchor. The FIS A anchor rod can be mounted at different anchor depths. This enables the system to be accurately adapted to the loads. It also optimizes material consumption. Epoxy based mortar is intended for internal and external fixings such as upper concrete joints, high shelves or durable steel constructions.
Benefits
  • High adhesion and very slight shrinkage of the mortar allow achieving maximum loads in cracked and non-cracked concrete, even with large threaded rod diameters up to M30.
  • The possibility of adjusting the anchorage depth from four to twenty times the diameter of the threaded rod affects the perfect adaptation to the assumed loads and guarantees optimal assembly time and use of materials.
  • FIS EM mortar has also been approved for use in holes drilled with diamond drills and in holes filled with water, which ensures even greater versatility of this solution.
  • The wide range of approved steel types in all corrosion resistance classes ensures the highest operational safety.

Functioning
  • FIS EM epoxy mortar is suitable for pre-installation and through installation and can be used with FIS A threaded rods or RG MI internal thread anchors.
  • The resin and hardener are placed in two separate containers and remain unmixed and inactive until they are squeezed out by the static mixer.
  • The mortar is squeezed without air bubbles from the bottom of the hole.
  • The mortar binds the entire surface of the rod to the walls of the hole and completely closes the hole.
  • The threaded rod is embedded manually in the hole, while screwing lightly to the bottom of the hole.
  • For through installation, the annular gap between the rod and the fixture is filled with FIS EM mortar.
